5.26 Provisions on private joint venture agreements
As at 30 September 2023, provisions on private joint venture agreements consisted of the

PWA had contract with 10 private joint venture contracts, of which three sale and purchase
water contracts with loss throughout the term of the contract. During 2023, the water cost decreased since
the Ministry of Commerce announced the Consumer Price Index (CPI) lower than the expected data,
resulting in a decrease in expected values of water cost from 2024 to the end of the contract. Consequently,
the provision of joint venture contracts in 2023 decreased.

5.27 Provisions on the Building and Construction Demolishment
As at 30 September 2023, provisions on the building and construction demolishment consisted
of the following:
